Job Responsibilities
-Responsible for design, implementation and debugging of software applications
-Specialized to work on development of software tools such as user-friendly GUI, utilities, databases and internet-related tools
Required Qualifications
-Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
-Knowledge of C/C++, STL, Java, Tcl and Qt
-Experience in working on Unix/Linux environment
-Experience in OOP and Generic programming
-Familiarity with UML and design patterns
-Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
-Abilities:
-Has strong desire to learn and explore new technologies
-Demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills
-Solves issues in creative ways
-Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions
-Receives little instructions on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments and projects
-Determines and develops recommendations to solutions
-Guides more junior peers with aspects of their job
-Good team player
