Job Responsibilities

-Responsible for:

-Timing and Power characterization of memory compiler using SPICE simulators such as HSIM and HSPICE
-Memory compiler block placement, power rings and interconnect routing in memory macro.
-Timing analysis of memories including back annotation of layout parasitic, physical verification using DRC and LVS tools.
-Generation of the complete set of release documentation.
-Formal release of Memory Compilers and post release support.

Required Qualifications

-Tools/Languages:
-HSIM, HSPICE, Primetime, Tetramax, ESPCV, VCS
-Schematic capture and Layout Design tools (preferably CD), DRC LVS Verification Tools (preferably ICV, Hercules), Power analysis Tools (preferably HSIM PWRA)
-Scripting languages (preferably TCL, C-shell, Perl)

-Typically requires 2 years of related experience
-Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
-Has working knowledge of work area and general proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job
-Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
-Receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments
-Implementations and solutions are reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy
-Builds productive internal/external working relationships
