Job Description
TITLE: Senior Relationship Manager at Commercial Banking Department

JOB PURPOSE: Initiate and maintain relationships with corporate clients. Manage portfolio and coordinate Relationship Managers’ efforts.



Job Responsibilities
-Initiate new corporate relationships according to business plan/budget, target market and the Bank’s underwriting norms.
-Maintain and develop the existing relationships assigned to him/her according to the above criteria while marketing and cross selling the Bank’s products.
-Maintain regular contacts with clients, to develop the business and at the same time monitor the risk.
-Coordinate efforts of Relationship Managers assigned to the Senior Relationship Manager; ensure proper training/coaching of Relationship Managers and Assistant Relationship Managers.
-Ensure a good grasp of the client’s business activity and needs, structure the lines accordingly and originate quality credit packages that meet the new policy standards.
-Ensure appropriate credit process discipline: timely review/renewal of credit lines, proper renewal of legal documentation, proper approval of derogations and excesses, etc…
-Review and monitor the activity of the portfolios assigned to him/her.
-Identify and closely monitor classified accounts, propose remedial action plans and ensure proper implementation.
-Ensure strict compliance with local policies and procedures.
-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned


Required Qualifications
Masters or Bachelor degree in Economics, Management or Finance; MBA is a plus
Minimum 4 years of banking experience mainly in credit and marketing
Excellent knowledge in corporate finance and financial analysis
Proactive approach and confident manners, excellent presentation and communication skills
Fluency in Armenian and English language, including verbal and written communication skills
Good command in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
Management and project leadership skills ; Team leading skills
Ambitious and looking for career growth
