The Movement Cooperation Specialist will be supporting operational activities related to ICRC Movement Cooperation’s strategies and programmes according to the objectives set.
• Ensures high-level dialogue and cooperation with the Armenian Red Cross Society’s (ARCS) leadership and senior management, as well as with the International Federation of Red Cross (IFRC) and Movement partners
• Analyzes and summarizes information relevant to the operational partnership between the ICRC and ARCS, identifies points of improvement in capacity in the field and progresses solutions in line with the ICRC Armenia Delegation’s strategy on Movement Cooperation
• Ensures all operational staff within the ICRC are aware of the Movement activities in the Republic of Armenia by integrating the knowledge into the plans and strategies; initiates and coordinates regular meetings with the ICRC relevant operational departments and the ARCS
• Represents the ICRC Movement Cooperation during formal & informal meetings with the ARCS leadership, Movement partners, as well as during the Country Coordination team meetings
• Advises ARCS on strengthening compliance with fundamental principles of the Movement, provides support to the ARCS on its legal basis and statutory matters
• Contributes to analyzing movement dynamics & tendencies that impact the ICRC operations, advises & supports the Movement Cooperation Coordinator to identify possible risks/existing matters related to coordination within movement, proposes solutions and maintains good understanding of potential integrity
• Contributes to annual budget planning, including Movement-inclusive planning processes and implements budget follow-up

• University degree in relevant field, certification in project management will be viewed as a strong asset
• At least 6-9 years of relevant work experience, international humanitarian work experience will be viewed as an asset
• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English, Armenian, Russian
• Computer proficiency (MS Office)
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to take initiative and to work independently
• Disciplined and accurate personality
• Advanced communication and negotiation skills asset
